Bushy Park

Bushy Park is a great place to visit, and it has  a lot to offer.

The main Molesey entrance to the park is opposite the Hampton Court Palace Lion gates – Chestnut Avenue is a great shortcut to Teddington – via the Teddington gate.

The park is open every day 24 hours for pedestrians, except September and November when opening time is 8:00 am and closing time is 10:30 pm.
Vehicle access is from 6:30 am to dusk, except in September and November when gates open at 8:00am on Monday – Friday.
Gates close at 7:00 pm in winter, and later in the summer.

In addition to the many deer that roam freely attractions include…

  • The Pheasantry Welcome Centre in Bushy Park reopened in 2013 after the completion of improvement works.
  • The Upper Lodge Water Gardens comprise of a Baroque-style collection of pools, cascades, basins and a canal.
  • The Bushy Park Playground is located near the Diana Fountain and the Hampton Court Gate entrance.
