The Hampton Court Palace are staging a series of events over Easter to commemorate the arrival of George I.
The following photographs were taken on Sunday 20/4 and the last day is Monday 21st. Fortunately the rain cleared for the arrival of the Royal Barge Gloriana carrying George I and his court, which then disembarked and went into the Palace.
The White Horses of Hanover then performed an impressive 20 minute horse ballet in the East front gardens.. The king looked out from the first floor.
Later, in the Queens Drawing room the King’s speech was performed.
As usual the Palace put on a great display with many other events planned throughout the day.
And a repeat of the days events tomorrow Monday 21st.
